Microtel’s elevator incentive program follows in the footsteps of La Quinta’s successful LQUp incentive program, launched in 2020, which facilitates comprehensive upgrades of hotel exterior, signage, public spaces, rooms, fitness center, breakfast offer and more. Through the LQUp Incentive Program, qualified franchisees of La Quinta by Wyndham in the United States have received funding in the form of $ 2,000 per room to complete their investment in the hotel renovation. Over 80 properties have already completed renovations under this program, including properties in Dallas and Odessa, Texas; Salem, Ore.; Saint PETERSBOURG and Tampa, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona.; Clovis, New Mexico; and Las Vegas, Nevada Hotels that have completed an LQUp renovation have, on average, seen their RevPAR increase since completing their renovations. In addition to the sites that have completed LQUp renovations, more than 100 hotels are currently being renovated as part of the program.
