The Westin Resort Guam has promoted General Manager Nick Song to President of Haevichi Hospitality Guam Inc. The promotion is effective January 1, 2022.
Song will continue to lead the company as general manager and will be responsible for managing all hotel operations, a Westin press release said. As President of Haevichi Hospitality, Song will provide direct support and strengthen relationships with owners and stakeholders.
Song holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, the statement said. His previous assignments include Walt Disney World’s Yacht and Beach Resort in Florida, JW Marriott Seoul, Park Hyatt Seoul and Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel in Korea, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Luxury Collection in Thailand and Four Points by Sheraton Victoria in Canada.
Since joining the company on January 1, 2020, Song has led his team with resilience in the face of the global impact of the pandemic, the statement said. Over the past two years under his leadership, The Westin Resort Guam has completed renovations to all guest rooms in the hotel and its Club Lounge, as well as a revitalization of the “Heart of Home” areas – the associated cafeteria. and various hotel facilities, such as the lobby and restaurants.
At the height of the pandemic, the hotel launched “Westin Guam Cares,” which focused on giving back to the community and protecting associates, the statement said.
