Home2 Suites by Hilton Woodland Hills Los Angeles, a seven-story property with 170 keys for business and leisure travelers, is now managed by Island Hospitality Management.

Another California program has joined Island Hospitality Management’s impressive list.

Strategic expansion

The third-party management company has taken over management of Home2 Suites by Hilton Woodland Hills Los Angeles, which is located in the heart of the Warner Center mixed-use development at 21110 West Oxnard Street.

“We continue to specialize in quality assets in markets where barriers to entry are high with multiple demand generators that are better able to withstand market fluctuations,” said Gregg Forde, director of the Operations and Executive Vice President, Island Hospitality Management. “Home2 Suites by Hilton Woodland Hills Los Angeles marks our third Home2 and our 30th Hilton-branded property in a state where we have successfully operated for many years.

“Our knowledge of the brand and the region will allow us to grow the hotel faster as we are able to share best practices and economies of scale. This will allow us to better serve business and leisure travelers who are looking for the extra space and amenities provided by an extended stay product like the Home2.

The property benefits from the experience of permanent staff who graduated from the island’s Pathways program.

Catering for extended stays

Spanning seven floors, the hotel houses a range of convenient amenities in addition to its 170 suites. For example, travelers can take advantage of the property’s indoor pool, state-of-the-art business center, 24-hour fitness center, and 342 square feet of event space.

Each suite includes separate living, sleeping and dining areas, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and oversized work area. There is also free breakfast service and free Wi-Fi.

Guests can refuel at a new F&B venue, Toasted Barrel, which is the second outpost of the island’s dining concept centered around the idea of an all-American bourbon-based restaurant. The 1,200-square-foot, 20-seat bar offers more than 60 bourbons to choose from and serves small plates, including a range of specialty grilled cheese sandwiches.
