Spire Hospitality strengthens its management team in a context of growth, and Auberge Resorts Collection has appointed key team members:
Spire Hospitality expands its team to adapt to growth
Spire Hospitality, a nationally recognized third-party hotel management company specializing in creating value for its hotel investors while delivering exceptional guest experiences and a great place to work, has expanded its leadership team to meet growth of the portfolio in 2021.

In an industry where attracting high quality leadership has always been a challenge, Spire continues to adapt and overcome by consistently delivering a work environment, service culture and exceptional results.
This year, Spire added five new management contracts to its portfolio of nearly 30 full-service and select-service hotels, as well as unbranded resorts across the United States. The most recent additions include the Villa Florence hotel in Union Square in San Francisco and the Hilton Garden Inn in Fremont, California. The growth pipeline is healthy for Spire.
Spire has appointed the following leaders to its leadership team:

- Roger Barrantes to the Regional Director, Sales and Marketing
- Dustin Soper to Social Media Manager
- Teri Serrano as Regional Director, Human Resources
StÃ©phanie Box, Vice-President, Operations
With over 20 years of industry experience, Box has worked with several brands including Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Starwood. She worked at Pillar Hotels and Resorts as Regional Director of Operations and Vice President of Operations, then joined Aimbridge Hospitality as Vice President of Operations, where she oversaw more than 110 hotels. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President of Operations for Highgate Hotels, overseeing 123 hotels. During her tenure, she worked on several hotel transitions and repositionings to drive performance.
Roger Barrantes, Regional Director, Sales
Almost 25 years ago, Barrantes began his hospitality career at Juan Santamaria International Airport with major international airlines. After moving to San Diego, he joined The Travel Company as a sales coach in 1996. Shortly after, Barrantes joined American Express Global Business Travel (AEGBT). In 2004, he joined Hilton and developed high performing teams, delivering results for several full service Hilton brands in urban and resort destinations in the US and internationally. In 2012, due to his commitment to top performance, he received the prestigious Hilton Worldwide Circle of Excellence â Director of Sales of the Year Award for the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Dustin Soper, Social Media Manager
Soper began his career in social media and marketing working for a number of country music artists, including Reba McEntire and Shania Twain, and one of the nation’s top social networking apps. He joined the DoubleTree by Hilton Nashville Downtown in June 2016, where he launched his hospitality career as a Social Media Manager and was recognized by Hilton as the best member of the Hilton Interactive Team for 2017, winning a Hilton Travel with Purpose grant to aid the establishment’s humanitarian efforts around Nashville. He joined StepStone Hospitality in April 2019 where he led a very successful social media and marketing campaign to showcase the newly renovated DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Nashville. Soper drives results through engagement on social media, auditing e-commerce channels, implementing strategic initiatives, and redesigning and updating websites to ensure that they are relevant.
Teri Serrano, Regional Director, Human Resources
Serrano is an experienced human resources professional with a proven track record of working in the hospitality industry. She has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, notably as vice-president, personal services; regional director, human resources; and Director, Risk Management. She most recently held the position of Regional Director of Human Resources at Access Hotels and Resorts.
Auberge Resorts Collection promotes and appoints two members of its team
Auberge Resorts Collection has promoted and appointed two key team members as it plans for strategic growth in Mexico. Lauren Carr Morado, who has been part of the Auberge Resorts Collection family since 2018, has been promoted to Senior Director, Sales and Marketing, Latin America. With over 16 years of hospitality experience, the brand welcomes Laurie Guidry as Area Manager, Sales, Mexico. Carr Morado and Guidry will play a key role in the 2022 openings of the brand’s two new complexes in Mexico, EtÃ©rÃ©o in Riviera Maya and Susurros del CorazÃ³n in Punta de Mita, while reinforcing the continued success of the brand’s presence in Los Cabos with Esperanza and Chileno Bay Resorts & Residences properties. In their new roles, Carr Morado will build on his excellent results in Los Cabos by creating EtÃ©rÃ©o and Susurros del CorazÃ³n for long-term success before and after opening, and Guidry will strategically manage the sales team and reservations for ensure a high level of customer experience that showcases the unique offerings of each location.
Carr Morado’s promotion stems from her success with the brand over the past three years. She’s built strong teams at both Los Cabos properties, which have been successful under her supervision. In this new role, she will lead all sales and marketing efforts for the continued growth of Auberge Resorts Collection in the Latin America region. Prior to joining the brand, she spent six years as Director of Sales and Marketing at Rosewood Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Los Cabos and five years at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in executive roles in Washington, DC and Newport Beach. , California. Carr Morado began her career at Marriott in Boston, New York and Washington, DC.
Originally from Louisiana, Guidry joins the brand from The J Collection in New Orleans, where she led the successful sales and marketing team with a specialty in financial operations, leadership and consistent brand communication. to secure reservations and guarantee meaningful customer experiences. Before settling in her hometown, she spent six years in California honing her extensive skills at Fairmont Hotel & Resorts, before becoming Director of Group Sales. Guidry will use his experience, managing 17 luxury properties and overseeing two openings, leading sales in target markets in the Southeast and South of the United States for all resorts in Mexico.
