Service robot company Xianglu Technology pockets several hundred million yuan in pre-A Round funding

Service robot developer Xianglu Technology announced on Monday that it had received several hundred million yuan in a pre-A financing round run by Tencent and IDG Capital, followed by existing shareholder Source Code Capital. In November last year, Xianglu Technology announced that he had secured 100 million yuan ($15.3 million) in an angel funding round from Source Code Capital. Funds raised this time around will be used primarily for technology R&D, production construction, and organizational upgrades.

Founded in July 2021, Xianglu Technology is a robot R&D and application company focusing on life service scenarios. Its products cover hotel self-service kiosks and distribution service robots. He has many patents and innovative applications regarding mobile robotic algorithms and simultaneous multitasking planning technologies. At present, many of the company’s robots have completed their R&D and have been launched into the market.

Marsmarch, a subsidiary brand of Xianglu Technology, has launched many products in hotel scenarios, including H2 self-service robot and H9 hotel dispensing robot. Now, the products have been applied in more than ten hotel groups and nearly 1,000 individual hotels under Dossen, WeHotel, Huazhu Hotels Group and BTG Homeinns.

With the rapid growth of market demand for robots in China, intelligent robot products have emerged recently. Driven by demand, technological progress and political support, the field of service robots is already close to gradual development.

Going forward, Xianglu Technology will focus on what it calls the “Robot + Service” path and continuously invest in robots suitable for hotels and restaurants. It will create more innovative products, improve the service system, and gradually build a new diversified service ecosystem with robots as the core.
