Ryan Companies hires Reed Ruck to launch real estate development in Denver

Ryan Companies US, Inc., a national provider of commercial real estate solutions, announced this week the hiring of Reed Ruck as senior vice president of multifamily real estate development for its Rocky Mountain region. Ryan has primarily focused on construction projects in Colorado and surrounding states, and Ruck’s new role as the region’s premier real estate developer furthers Ryan’s rapid expansion in the region.

Ruck joins Ryan with nearly 30 years of industry experience with a history of running thousands of multi-family units while managing debt and equity responsibilities. From sourcing land to overseeing the development process through to construction, Ruck will primarily focus on multi-family opportunities, with additional focus in the industrial and mixed-use sectors.

Widely recognized for his decorated career in the hospitality industry, Brinkman brings more than 30 years of experience as an executive at Marriott International. Most recently, Brinkman served as Director of Development for Full-Service Brands in the United States, where he was responsible for leading development strategies for Marriott’s full-service development team in the United States.

During his career at Marriott, Brinkman led various hotel development teams responsible for its many brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, JW Marriott, The Luxury Collection Hotels, Gaylord Hotels and Resorts, Renaissance Hotels , Autograph Collection Hotels. , Westin and Le Meridien Hotels, in addition to holding several regional and global leadership positions.

Lynsee was previously Community Manager for Kairoi after joining the company two years ago. She is an experienced property manager, specializing in the luxury rental industry. Lynsee’s ability to develop meaningful relationships with residents and teams stems from experience in the retail and hospitality industries for over a decade. With a passion for brand curation, service experience, and social media, Lynsee’s accolades include receiving the 2020 1% Brand Management ORA Honors as well as the 2021 Kairoi RemarKable Award. Lynsee holds a B. in Marketing as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Montana.

Lisa Vellar joined in September 2022 as Community Director in the Denver area. Lisa spent over 18 years in the Denver market, most recently at Garrett Residential. Lisa’s experience includes rentals, A+ stabilizations and renovations.

Pinkard Announces New Chief Operating Officer and Chief Construction Officer

Pinkard Construction has announced the promotion of two key employees. Blake Chambliss, a 42-year veteran of the company, has been promoted to chief operating officer and will lead all facets of Pinkard’s current and future construction projects. He will continue to lead Pinkard’s Self Performance Group as a subset of operations.

Additionally, Pinkard announced that Joe Revielle will be promoted to Construction Manager, reporting to Chambliss and providing direct oversight of all construction projects assigned to him.

Tony Burke, President of Pinkard, said these leadership changes will improve Pinkard’s reporting structure to create better support and accountability for our projects and team members, ultimately benefiting customers.

“Blake is incredibly resilient and resourceful and used those qualities to tackle and excel in every job and challenge that came his way,” Burke said. “Joe’s experience and exceptional attention to detail quickly made him one of Pinkard’s most sought-after superintendents. He will bring this wealth of knowledge to his new role and can mentor our rising stars.

Chambliss says he’s excited to move into a role where he can help project teams break down roadblocks and ensure adequate staffing.

“Because of all the new work we’ve acquired, my priority is to fill all of our vacant operating positions, including many assistant superintendent positions,” says Chambliss. “It’s important to me that our teams not only have the leadership support that I can provide, but also the boots on the pitch to ensure the teams continue to deliver exceptional customer service and build quality.”

Blake’s list of successful projects covers many types of projects. He has worked on recreation centers, multi-family buildings, seniors housing, municipal buildings, health care and Class A office buildings. He holds a National Standard General Building Contractor (A) license and four of his projects have received ABC’s first National Construction Excellence Award.

“Business is booming and I’m excited to help Pinkard ensure all important upcoming projects are set up for success before we even start moving earth,” says Revielle.

Joe Revielle has been in the construction industry for 38 years and has excelled in various types of projects including multi-family, retail and municipal projects ranging from $1 million to over $90 million. He is a LEED Accredited Building Design + Construction Professional and has developed his listening and collaborative skills in part through his extensive municipal experience as a Planning Commissioner. He’s been with Pinkard for 5 years.
