Thinking of upgrading your home this spring? In May, two Vermont home shows have the potential to connect homeowners with builders, landscapers and more.
Johnson Log Home and Timber Frame Show
Meet log and timber home builders and rustic furniture makers May 13-15 at the DoubleTree Hilton hotel in Burlington. Vendors will present their products and the quality of their know-how.
Get answers to your questions about floor plan design, budgeting, financing and the difference between a log home and a frame home.
There will be free seminars on building topics and suppliers of windows, doors and cabinets and more available to talk about their wares.

Rotary Home and Hobby Fair
The Home and Leisure Expo hosted by the Rotary Club of St. Albans returns this year May 14 at the Collins Perley Sports and Fitness Center.
The exhibition typically hosts 150 vendors showcasing home and hobby products and services. Additionally, this year there will also be a silent auction featuring a Moose Mountain Creations chicken coop valued at $1,500, among other items.
Food trucks will be available onsite for attendees, so they can purchase snacks while attending the show.
Thanks to Handy Cars, Inc., the show is free this year.
