After giving his approval to take permission to run various courses for the year 2022-23, Haryana Technical Education Minister Anil Vij said on Sunday that, modeled on Mahagyani Rishi Ashtavakra Kendra Government Polytechnic, Panchkula, various degree courses for deaf and hard of hearing students will be launched in various state polytechnic institutions in the state.
Vij said, “I have given approval to take permission to conduct various courses for the year 2022-23 in the state polytechnic and polytechnic institutes of the government corporation for deaf and hard of hearing students. In this series, courses in library and information science, computer engineering, and hotel and restaurant management technology will be launched at various polytechnics.
“The state government is making every effort to make the youths of the state employable and in this sense vacation diploma courses are conducted at the Government Polytechnic Uttawar and the Government Polytechnic of Mandkola,” said the Minister of Technical Education.
Vij added that for the year 2022-2023, 30 to 30 places have been reserved for courses in library and information science at the government polytechnic, Ambala City and the government polytechnic, Sirsa.
